Hello,

You know what? It's been way too long since my last entry. I guess I can blame, being way to lazy! Anyways

I started an Access to Business and Enterprise (it's called). This course will start off in a nice and calm manner and take me through the stages that I missed out on when I was younger.

This would subjects like Maths, English etc...

It had to be said though, English is not really a problem nowadays as I have been living here for the past 5 years and I believe I do speak it better then Swedish (whatever that means)

Anyways I do not wish to write too much just yet as I will start to write more and more as time passes by. Soon there should be an update of my studying on a certain internationally known website. Not going to mention which one it is shhhhhhhhh......

France was 2nd team to qualify for the World Cup Final after beating Portugal in the semis. Not really sure who you could say deserved more to be in the final but France managed to poke a goal from the penalty spot in the first half. I was expecting Scolari to put on a more attacking side giving Pauletta a bit more support up front in order to score some goals but it never happened. Pauletta got substituted for Helder Postiga and Christiano Ronaldo went up on top to support him.

I was not really sure who to support in the evening but it seemed in the end I was cheering for Portugal. Ronaldos antics against England made itself shown with the spectators booing whenever he had the ball throughout the game. In a way well deserved but another let bygones be bygones. Portugal was fighting desperatly to get a goal in to the last seconds of the game having Ricardo (Goalkeeper) running up on corners to support his team mates but without result.

Game unfortunatelly meant that Portugal will now face Germany on Saturday the 8th of July in a game for 3rd place. France will take on Italy on Sunday the 9th of July and that should be a cracking game. Italy who are always very good defensivly and technically while France have Henry and Zidane playing for them. These boys can on the day change the game by themselves which we saw against Brazil. Ok, France is a very good team throughout and could most likely bag this World Cup.

Germany are finally out but what a fantastic game last night against Italy. For the first time I can truly say that there was a referee that was worthy of refereeing World Cup football. He wasn't buying in to dives, whining or pressure from the shouting fans. It is a shame that this was not the standard from the referees throughout the tournament as it would probably have been completely different teams in these later stages. Referees have been buying in to diving and whining way too much

It was a well fought match last night and the players realised that they were going nowhere with diving etc. Both Italy and Germany had an attacking style of play and were going for the win. There were a few players out on the pitch which I feel should not have been on there i.e. Michael Ballack. He was a poor excuse for a footballer and it seems that he was out there to play more of a bullying part then footballing. Both goalkeepers had a good game and if it would have gone to penalties it would be hard fought combat between the excellent keepers.

In the 2nd extra time Pirlo got the ball outside the penalty area and did a briliant pass to Grosso who beautifully curled it from the corner of the area around Jens Lehmann. It seems that even Grosso couldn't believe his eyes as he was running and shaking his head after scoring that beauty.

I believe this goal shocked Germany as in my opinion they were starting to think about penalty shootout. They responded straight away with going all out attack which caused the game to split in to two games if you so wish. The players were to tired to run back and forth so they were standnig and waiting for the ball. Itlay managed to counter attack with just seconds left to play and Alessandro Del "The Old Dog" Piero managed snatch a last goal before full time.

All in all a very exciting game by far the best game so far in the World Cup. I believe we are up for another great match tonight Portugal v France but it would take a lot for them to beat last nights performance.

Has been a while since I last wrote but here we go again. England went out on Saturday yet again on penalties which to me seems to be a curse to them. Feels like the World Cup is over in a way but then again there is still a lot of good football to be played. We went to a pub called Castlebar in Ealing to see the game England v Portugal. The atmosphere was good and everyone was up for a win against Portugal.

What exactly went wrong against Portugal? Well for starters Sven decided to start with Rooney alone up top and starting with Lampard continue his poor form. The chap has not scored a single goal in the World Cup but still managed to have more shots on goal then anyone else in the World Cup. Something tells me that he should have been left on the bench and perhaps utilize Crouch instead. He looked very good when he got on in the 2nd half and you might wonder why he was not on the pitch from the start. Portugal has a very attacking style of game but you can not sit back and hope that you will defend and counter attack them with Rooney who has been injured for quite a while and who is probably still not 100% fit. Back 4 did a good job throughout the game and Owen Hargreaves did a fanstastic job. It was good to see that he got in to a position which he is natural and can play really well. Best thing of it was for him to shut up all these people who has been moaning and booing when he has entered the pitch in the past.

There is a lot to be said about the game especially with Rooney being sent off and Ronaldo behaving like he did. I can'ty say that I blame Ronaldo's behaviour as he is playing for his country in the World Cup quarter finals and his will to win is just as great as Rooney's. I firmly believe that Wayne Rooney would have done exactly the same
